was visiting father and mother

Dr and Mrs Gerhardt,

Inah Knox, Chas and I

motored to Marysville

where picked up…

Mr and Mrs George Hickle

of Lancaster had

wintered in Miami Florida

and there, with us met the

Hatchards.

When the latter came to

Ohio the Hickles invited

us to spend Decoration

Day 1922 with them at

their Buckeye Lake…

at "The Caves" near

Walhonding.

This is the older of the

two castles.

This one is furnished

as it was in the day of its

builder whose daughter

now lives there.

It needs much repair

and care.

but the Don Piatt

Castle is in much

better shape but…
