and a few others, we had&#13;

 Picnics on the Beaches, on&#13;

Chas. Levings arranged along the&#13;

Bay, and jaunts to nearby places&#13;

with our delightful friends&#13;

were the usual programs.&#13;

 Those who were without cars&#13;
&#13;
gave delightful dinner parties&#13;
&#13;
for the friends who took them&#13;
&#13;
about. At this pow-wow Mrs&#13;
&#13;
Wall insisted (thoughtlessly?) on&#13;
&#13;
having her pretty umbrella hoisted&#13;
&#13;
[illegible] tho other folk couldnt see&#13;
&#13;
