Description

On Feb. 22-1926- the

anniversary of Geo. Waal.

we left Pasadena, Calif

in Mrs Hatchards Lincoln

Car-accompanied by

Mrs Hatchard and her sister

Miss Mary Simpson, Mother

Mann, Chas. and I, bound

for the Coachella Valley.

Palm Springs, that near

fashionable resort 200 ft

or so below sea level

was our objective.

At lovely Riverside we picked

up Mrs Louise Sedgwick who

continued with us-Then we

also met Mr Ruloph Brinkerhoff

whom we always find in Riverside.

When he lived in Sunbury he and

Mrs. Brinkerhoff were our close

neighbors. We met him out there

in 1913. in 1921-'24 and 26.

Palm Springs was reached

in good time and again we

stopped at Hotel Goffs.
