During the winter this sand stretch was sold for poring to someone in Phoenix. How the sand will be kept from it I do not guess - At short intervals there were passing places, some of them long enough for four cars, and all were marked as the photo shows, with a post topped with an old tire. The other deserts we had seen have vegitation, but this is a taste of the Sahara Desert. The camera really failed to show how mountanious the sand is in places.
