PREVIEW: On September 5, the Big Walnut Eagles and the Elm Valley Aces met at Scioto Valley for the County Preview. The Eagles were victorious with a score of 6 to 0. WESTERVILLE: The week of September the 12th, Big Walnut tangled with the Westerville Wildcats, at Westerv- ille. The wildcats were ex- ceedingly victorious with a score of 34 to 6. CARDINGTON: On September 19, we traveled to Cardington to meet them on their own field. Our team put up a gallant fight but returned home defeated. OLENTANGY; Our first home game was on Sept- ember 26. Here we met the Olentangy Braves. Our school pirit was magnificent as the Eagles defeated the visitors. The score was 12 to 6. MOUNT GILEAD: On October 3, Big Walnut met Mount Gilead on their field. Both teams played quite well and Mount Gilead, with a score of 30 to20, returned home vi- ctorious. SCIOTO VALLEY: On Friday October 10, the Eagles met Scioto Valley on our field. We once again spun our way to victory with a twenty-four win- ning margin -- 32 to 8. MARION CATHOLIC: On October 17, Big Walnut had her homecoming. The team had spirit but the night ended in de- feat for us. The score was 30 to 12. RICHWOOD: On Friday October 24, Big Walnut traveled to Richwood. The game was quite exciting and the final score was close. It was Big Wal- nut 22, Richwood 27. ELM VALLEY: On October 31, we met the Elm Valley Aces here on our own field. This game seemed quite a chal- lenge to both teams. The final score was Big Walnut 12 and Elm Valley 19.
