Description
This photograph shows the oldest elm tree in Ohio and N.D. Barcus who owns the property the tree is on. According to the September 19, 1948 edition of the Columbus Dispatch, the tree measured 24" in diameter and was at least 100 years old. N.D. Barcus serves as a reference point for the size of the tree.
