At lovely Riverside we picked up Mrs Louise Sedgwick who continued with us-Then we also met Mr Ruloph Brinkerhoff whom we always find in Riverside. When he lived in Sunbury he and Mrs. Brinkerhoff were our close neighbors. We met him out there in 1913. in 1921-'24 and 26. Palm Springs was reached in good time and again we stopped at Hotel Goffs. Title A name given to the resource On the Inn Lawn Description An account of the resource Feb. 23-1926 Where we went with Mr and Mrs Hatchard and their daughter Mrs Smith in Feb 1924. The same talkative landlady was there this time. They had anchored the front porch and added it to an otherwise small living room. After dinner we (all but mother) walked down town (middle of road) to the famous Inn. Some of us sat inside and watched the freaks, while some of us preferred the outside atmosphere. The other photo was taken from the porch roof toward the Inn and a mansion on Mt side. This one is on the Inn lawn where a lot of cottages are located. Chas boy, happened to take all of these, preferring not to be in them. The mansion on the Mt side shows plainer. We later drove on back into the Mts to visit famous Palm Canyon (where we got such good pictures two years ago.) Afterward driving on down the Coachella. When I was a patient at the Hickle Sanitorium. This was taken on Sunday, when Finnys and Vandervorts came down to Lancaster. Chas had come the night before and all started from the Sanitorium. It was a fine day. We carried picnic lunch which was eaten out toward Laurelville, possibly in that village. We finally got around to "Stone House." Mrs Finny thought it a wild and wooly ride, saying she'd rather sit on her front porch. She didn't think much of mother natures handiwork in the region we visited, the nature students and lovers think it wonderfully fine.
