Description
This Indian pow-wow
took place at the "Willie
Willie" camp on the Miami
Riv. sometime late in
Feb. or early M'ch 1922.
The Walls of Muncie Ind. we
met that winter and with
the Crings, Hatchards,
Hinkleys, Walls, Mrs Porter
Mother Mann, Joseph Tarbill
and a few others, we had
one of the happiest winter
seasons we've experienced.
Picnics on the Beaches, on
Chas. Levings arranged along the
Bay, and jaunts to nearby places
with our delightful friends
were the usual programs.
Those who were without cars
gave delightful dinner parties
for the friends who took them
about. At this pow-wow Mrs
Wall insisted (thoughtlessly?) on
having her pretty umbrella hoisted
[illegible] tho other folk couldnt see
thru it. Ha!!!
