On a long stretch of desert

road there were thousands of

Yucca, or Spanish Bayonet

shrubs. In fact we saw

them growing for five or six

of the ten days, enroute to

California. This scene was

in New Mexico - just…

This Indian pow-wow

took place at the "Willie

Willie" camp on the Miami

Riv. sometime late in

Feb. or early M'ch 1922.

met that winter and with

the Crings, Hatchards,

Hinkleys, Walls, Mrs…

A river with an Indian

name, which we crossed

going up the west side

of Florida, Mch 1923.

It was a pretty scene

and unusual because

of the strange appearance

of the trees on the riv. bank.

The grounds were open to

the public, but you were

supposed to keep moving.
